Production Blog- Getting into it

 What’s up gang?

I will be providing you guys with updates regarding the progress of my music video via my blog. Although we haven't started filming, the behind-the-scenes work is virtually finished. Getting costumes and makeup for the day we shoot was one of my responsibilities in the group. We are having a fall picnic, so I need to makeup I supply to group with he proper makeup and costume advice. I have been brainstorming and I believe I want the group to have a type of orange and white color scheme for clothes. This idea has not been discussed though, so I still need to get approval from my other group members. This could mean it could end up as just an idea, but I want these colors, because of the type of "fall" theme. If I must buy a few pieces of clothes for my group, than I will have to.

The makeup look will be casual. I am not planning on anyone having on costume makeup, anything simple for a day to day look will make the video look be fine. Our most memorable scene is me slamming a cake over Camila's face. If I had made people wear elaborate makeup, it would all be ruined in the end, especially Camila's, so there is no point.

We still as a group still have to decide on the cake situation. Is it a cake? Cupcake? We collectively don't know, but we are aiming for a cake. We ourselves are not cake decorators, but I believe we are working together to do our best for the decor of it. The decor of the cake is a pretty big part of the start of the music video, so we need to decide soon how and when we are doing the cake preparations. The idea is for the name of the song to be nicely written on top of the circular cake in cursive letters. I will probably end up writing this, as I enjoy to decorate things because of my artistic hobbies. The cake will also be sporting ruffles and nicely placed sprinkles and will also have a color scheme. Our color scheme, to go with our closet, is orange and white. Although in Florida, the leaves don't change colors, it won't stop us from eluding that we are having a fall picnic. We are all very excited to get our music video filmed and that is what we will do when I next speak to you guys. Until than!
