Production Blog- Soundtrack

 What's up gang?

Today, Camila and I found our soundtrack for our final film project. I find that it fits the Thriller genre perfectly. We searched for royalty free music on Youtube for our music. We were looking for music that had words such as "creepy, horror, and haunted". We found a playlist of worthy soundtracks that could add to our ambiance of the film, and we decided on one of them.

We decided on royalty free music instead of copyrighted music to save us some time. We wanted to be able to pick our music, without the hassle of needing to email a request. We decided on a copyright free music, titled, "It's in the Fog", by @DarrenCurtisMusic, on Youtube.  I find of all the music we reviewed on Youtube, this music would fit our situation the best.

The plan is for the first half of the film to only have the background sounds, such as the Television, the drawing, and the kitchen sounds. During the title sequence, the beginning of this music will start to play, with a few of the kitchen sounds overlapping, and then when the sequence is over, the music will stop. When the horror aspect is finally revealed, the music will slowly start to creep into the film again, and slowly get louder, until the end.

Camila and I also have to make the sound effects ourself. From the certain kitchen noises to the TV. The kitchen noises will include knife noises, mixing, and oven beeping. The television will play background speaking noises, but nothing too distracting.

From now, we will finally put together what we hope will be our final project. We will ask a few of our peers to review it for us in the future, so we can. make sure it is perfect. Thanks for being with us!
