Production Blog- Editing Day One!

 What's up gang?

We've only recently wrapped up filming, so we're just getting started on the editing process.

We started by going through each footage again and selecting which ones should have made it into the final cut. This required us to rewatch over 70 clips, so it took a while. Yet in the end, we decided on the ones that went together the best and we liked the most.

Following that, we had to resize the clips and arrange them according to the scenes. We checked to make sure the audio was clear and that the total number of clips fit inside the allotted time.

We are going to use CapCut for our editing procedure. We are both accustomed to using this app's tools because we have both utilized it for prior projects.
Camila is responsible for labeling some of the video and ensuring proper cropping. I am in charge of adding the remaining labels and ensuring that the videos flow naturally into one another.
The fact that we have already completed two projects that need editing has made this editing process simpler than the prior ones.
We have been making sure that everything works flawlessly together throughout this procedure. For instance, timing is crucial. To make a film that flows and draws the viewer in, we had to figure out the timing of each scene. They are also left wanting more information by this.

Thus far, CapCut is a user-friendly program, which has allowed us to flawlessly edit the film without any problems.
The clip has been assembled, but we still need to add the soundtrack, correct the labels, and fix a few minor issues.
Here is a picture of the Capcut software, which we have been using and will keep using for our short film.

We still have more editing to complete, so thanks for coming by!
