Production Blog - Ending

What's up gang! Last time I updated, I finished my commercial outline. I had included photos from swimming, the beach, my family and my friends. The videos I included had to do with swimming and in activities with my friends. After editing all the photos and videos, I made sure they all had my color scheme backdrop. From there on I had finished the commercial, besides the sound. I had kept putting off adding the music, especially two songs in such a short length video, as I didn't know how to do it. Although I was intimidated by it, I looked up videos online on how to do it exactly. After about an hour of looking over Capcut editing and music techniques, I fixed some of my commercial and started to add in my music. I decided for the first half of my video, from swimming to the beach, to use the song Sweet Life by Frank Ocean. From there, I attempted to add in the song Sunshine by Steve Lacy and Foushée, for the last half of my video, for my family and friends.

At this point, I had finished the music and photos, so I didn't know what I could be missing. I then realized I was missing considerable transitions between my photos and videos. That was the next step I took, as I included the transition "Movement" for the final touch of my commercial. Through out the commercial as well, I added texts, such as labels for the photo categories. Examples such as "Swimming" and "Friends", along with the other categories I mentioned before had text in them. My beginning introduction photo also was titled, "Like through Katherine's Eyes". I think this title holds a sense of creativity and demonstrates how I wanted the commercial to be set up in the first place. At the very end, I included the credits of who created and edited the video, which was me. From there, I believe I completely finished my personal commercial. I really feel I had a personal connection with this project and it helped me to be more in tune with myself and my morals. I had a blast creating this and I can't wait for more! Until then!
